Re: It is almost time to fire up my new build...

Very nice. It looks like there would be a lot of head room above the mobo to install a H110 radiator and fans.

Oh, I didn't know they released a H110! The last I saw was H100. I'd have to do a little looking into it. I know when I was looking a couple years ago (as the H100 was released) there was an issue fitting a push/pull config. If I remember correctly some were able to fit one set of fans under the top mesh though.

That's a link to the H110. I've already ordered mine and I picked up a HX750 Gold for 119 with a 10 mail in. I figure the way I'm going I'll build mine sometime next fall.

I've done some limited research on the H110 this morning (OC and Corsair forums), and it looks like the H110 will NOT fit in the 600T. At least not without some modification(s).

The H100 fits fine in a push OR pull config. I remember seeing someone in the Corsair forums who actually mounted it on the side using the mesh cover! I think he did a push/pull setup that way.

The reason I picked another H70 is the amount of firmware issues they had -- the failing profiles. I've always used Noctua fans, and run them at 100%. As an FYI: Noctua makes a 140mm fan that uses 120mm mounts. I've used them on my other H70, and didn't see any difference in temps. I think its because they lack proper shrouding... there is a small gap on all four sides of the radiator.

EDIT: I also remember someone using fans that were not as thick as the standard 120mm fan... I'll need to dig some info up on them. I seem to remember them flowing well, but can't remember anything about static pressure for radiators.....

I knew the H110 was bigger and it looked pretty tight as it was. An awful nice looking computer either way. I hope mine looks half that good.

The new Swiftech Kit is the way to go for watercooling. Closed loop but you can add on to it because it uses standard clamps.

Agreed, if you got the money for it. I might look to upgrade when they come out with the 2nd Gen one...
