I e-filed my Federal Taxes on 3/9/2013 using TurboTax. I received the "return received" notice almost instantly. However, 12 days later, the IRS website does not show the return being "refund approved".
Is there a general delay in approvals or is it just me? My address is the same as last year, the bank account for direct deposit is the same. Only thing different this year: I did install a high efficiency heat pump and claimed the tax credit from this work.
I know there is nothing I can do about the delay, just wondering if it was a general delay or just me? -- The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits.
reply to pende_tim I filed mine the last week of February and didn't get any notices, except that it was approved and direct deposited a week later (shrugs). -- Illegal aliens have always been a problem in the United States. Ask any Indian. Robert Orben
