TekSavvy → [Outage] RF in Ottawa

Rogers has confirmed there is an outage in the area. It is a signal related issue. They have stated to try and power cycle the modem and test the connection. If you are still experiencing the issue after powercycling, please message us in the direct forum and we will troubleshoot and submit off a ticket.

I think most of us in Ottawa are running very low on patience for these types of issues. Modem being rebooted now. Hopefully I come back online.

Agreed - this is getting silly...

I definitely understand your frustration, we are getting word of people getting back online with a power cycle so hopefully we will get this resolved for you soon. Again, thank you all for your patience.

Is it me or Rogers has thrown Ottawa under the bus when it comes to maintaining its HFC network there?

This is the second or third RF issue along with numerous other outages on Rogers' end of things.
