| [Troubles] Regular web pages do not load but HTTPS sites do Had a good stretch of 3-5 months with no router outages, then this past week has been bad.
Once a day I have had to reboot the router because web pages will not load, it just sits there with a blank page like it is trying to load something but never does and never times out. I have let it sit for 30 minutes and never load.
Once I reboot the router everything works for the rest of the day. Next day same thing again.
Starting Wednesday it would only last for about 1-2 hours and I would have to reboot it. The that night it would only work for 2 minutes to 30 minutes. Thursday and today about 1 minute of use then nothing loads.
Now here is where it gets very interesting. Sometime on Thursday we realised our Vonage phone was still working during this outage. Email also works, send and receive. This morning I did some more testing. Secure websites using HTTPS like banks, credit card accounts and Gmail work just fine. Also noticed my Dropbox account works. FTP clients also work. My VPN connection to work also works.
But any regular website using HTTP will not load. Almost as if that protocal was being blocked or massivly slowed down.

FTP
VPN - PPTP
POP
SMTP
IMAP
This protocal does not:
HTTP
Why does it work for 30 minutes then fail?
Why do all the other protocals work but not HTTP?
