Clifton, NJ | Can you reset cablevision remote control? Wondering if there is a way to reset remote?
I changed the way volume is controlled from TV to cable box.
Now my PiP and dvr buttons no longer work.
Tested with another remote and works fine so it's not the box. |

| the instructions say the programming can stick for 10 years even without batteries.

The only thing I can think of is try reporgramming it to the tv. |

My remotes work again!!!! The volume wouldn't work on EITHER of them. Sooo annoying!! I can now control the volume again!  |

That's what they default to. Nope, I have a Sanyo 27" CRT 19 yrs old, and a Mitsubishi 27" CRT, IDK how old, but at least 10. |
