[Wireless] X2000 and WRT54GS WiFi Channel

I have X2000 and WRT54GS sitting right next to each other right now. I finding differing posts. Some say to set WRT54GS to a different channel since they are sitting right next to each other, others say best to just disable the wireless altogether.
