[HSI] New drop, 20%+ packet loss, terrible upload speeds

I just moved into a new house and had charter HSI 30mb installed. At first it worked fine, after a couple weeks we had a lot of interruptions so I contacted charter and they sent a tech out.

The tech said the drop needed replacing and within 24hrs it would be done, as far as I know that was finished. However since, I am getting very bad packet loss and terrible upload speeds. It has become extremely noticeable in online gaming to the point I keep getting 800+ ms pings and constant connection lost drops.

I almost hate to complain because I am getting above advertised download speeds but with this latest round of issues it is unbearable.

Service address is:

You should probably remove your address. This isn't Charter Direct.

You might want to REMOVE your address from your post. There isn't anyone here that can help you in this regard.

You could however post your modem's line stats. as well as a tracert to one of your game servers.

Crap, I forgot I wasn't in charter direct, thanks mod.

According to the line test here I am not pingable, I have turned off all firewalls and opened the port in the router and firewall for an echo request.

Using ookala's ping test is where I got my numbers from.

rozztc7, you can find this by clicking this link: »192.168.100.1/ in your web browser. Post the section about Downstream/Upstream Power Level, Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), etc.
