Morganton, NC | [HSI] Something is wrong with Internet connection at this hotel I am at a hotel in Pigeon forge TN, which appears to get internet service from Charter.
Things were loading pretty slow here, so I did a speed test and got these weird results:
Upload speed about 4 times faster than download?
Anyone ever seen results like this? What causes it? Router misconfigured maybe?

| It depends on how many people are there. You might not be the only one using the internet in the hotel. Some hotels will also set per user bandwidth limits so there is always enough bandwidth left over to run their business. |

For a comparison, try running a speed test on »speedtest.charter.com/ (inside Charter's own network) based on your area it should test to the server in Kingsport, TN. |

that may means theirs congestion. I doubt lots of people are uploading things at a hotel, but they might be downloading... |
