Details on Rumored New AT&T U-Verse Speeds → AT& new Uverse speeds

When will AT&T FINALLY wake up and do FTTH @ one gigabit down and up for its entire footprint. The company's cheapskate behavior will bring them to their knees. AT&T is not anywhere near competitve w/ cable or muni-fiber.

I have U-Verse FTTH. I think any new housing development here in the past 3 yrs is fiber all the way.

Agreed, those that do have FTTH it doesn't matter still same speeds under AT&T.. in anycase AT&T and Verizon both want to offer their LTE service as a replacement for broadband, and in Verizons case prob also video.., by the time LTE-Advanced rolls out theirs no telling what will happen..
