[FiOS] HBO-HD Flickering!

Doe anyone subscribe to HBO-HD channels? I've been noticing flickering on all of the HBO channels for the past 3-4 days. None on any other premiums, or other cable or local HD channels. FYI, I use CableCARD with HTPC only. Any input would be appreciated, before calling tech support. Thanks!

No flickering on HBO-HD at my home in Edmonds, WA. I use a cable card with Tivo. I don't know what HTPC is.

Double check your connections; if you have any splitters, think about replacing them (they can go bad). Assuming that the HBO channels are on the same frequency, it's possible it's faulting wiring or connections.

Home Theater PC -- instead of a TiVo or cable DVR set-top box

Thank you. Short and completely clear.

Thanks for the suggestion. No splitters to replace, but I will double check to make sure everything is tight. It baffles me that why only HBO is acting up and no other channels!

This is a known problem with Media Center. This is a refresh rate problem. If you change your resolution to something below 1920x1080 it usually goes away.

Thanks for the responses. The culprit ended up being the new Intel Graphics 3000 video driver, that automatically activated a flag called "Adaptive Contrast Enhancement" Under the Image Enhancement Option. Turning it off took care of the issue! Just an FYI.
