This mainly gets used for iTumes streaming |  A first gen Bondi Blue iMac G3, also in the living room |  My G4 Cube. This is in the basement and gets used for light internet browsing |  The Airport Express. This is in the dining room and extends the WiFi to the other end of the house |
I moved into a new house a couple of months ago so now it's time to show off the Macs! |

Why not use the WiFi capabilities of the FiOS router? Unless you have TV service, or are connected by coax, it seems redundant. Nice collection and clean setup btw. |

I used to have a different ISP and needed the Apple hardware for the network. I switched to FiOS and still wanted to use my Apple hardware. According to what I've read about FiOS in order to utilize all of the television features I have to keep that router in place.

If you haven't already, you can actually connect the internet to the Airport Extreme, and the FiOS router to the Airport, instead of having the FiOS router feeding the Airport. |
