Just got off the call with Windstream DSL support with them explaining Iowa DSL customers cannot get IP state-wide. All day outage expected again; second in a month for southwest Iowa. Weekend outages have killed Windstream credibility given recurring impact during peak usage time.
Requests for a credit only resulted in my being told I was "lucky" as Windstream has raised rates since I got mine. To say we are disappointed is an understatement.
Our DSL service has been terrible to say the least. The last two weeks we have been without service it seems more than we have had service. I don't ask allot but I need internet service or I wouldn't have this account with Windstream, certainly dont' need phone line for phone service any more. Looking for another provider, can't take this crap any longer. Get with it Windstream or you'll lose us!!!
