 | Internet connection lost daily in the morning Hello DSL, i'm hoping I can get some information from here as Time Warner Cable's support has been lackluster
We have been with Timer Warner for 2.5 years at our location in Northern Manhattan without a problem. To make matters more fun, Earthlink seems to be the internet service provider that Time Warner uses. Starting in December, we would not have an internet connection every morning when we woke up. Multiple power cycles and new cables would yield nothing. The connectivity would magically resolve at some point during the day while at work, typically by 1 pm if i'm home. I thought it would be the router (Belkin N+) so I borrowed a friends router (Linksys) and the same problem occurred. Time warner at this point still claims the signals look good on their end and it must be me, so I purchased an Asus rtn56u and loaded it with various kinds of firmware... Same problem. Time warner came out and replaced the modem. This was the only time that it worked consistently. We had flawless internet with a new Ubee modem and the rt-n56u for 3 weeks.
About 2 weeks ago, it started again every few days. Now it is back to happening every morning. Time warner came back out and replaced the modem with an Arris cm820a yesterday. Same problem, I am unable to connect to the internet, unable to ping modem, I don't know if this is a modem or router, or both. Below is the log from the Asus and attached is a txt file from the Arris and the Belkin router.
here are the logs from the asus:
