 | Is there a way to see your net usage. Is there a way to see your net usage. to see if your getting close to your cap. |

 | Check here. Be aware that it's totally inaccurate.
On a related note, do you qualify for U-verse? Enter your address here to check to see if it's available. I live in the north side historic district (by the courthouse) and have the max plus tier.
Currently caps are not enforced on U-verse (be it ADSL2+ or VDSL2). However that will probably change once they roll out the NVG589. |

 | reply to wingman99 Yeah there is a page or two about AT&T DSL Usage caps. Nice FAQ page. »www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp···KB409045 usage page »www.att.com/esupport/internet/usage.jsp
As it says on the page just like AT&T wireless data plans they do send an automatic e-mail to the master e-mail account for service. Not that any one would see that or that it wouldn't end up in the spam folder on the mail servers. |

Hi fellow opelika I received this when I checked internet usage QUOTE: Note: Your usage is not yet available for display. You should not be concerned about your usage for billing purposes. AT&T will keep you informed about your data usage via email.
I live off Gateway DR and no U-verse.
What is NVG589?
Are you going to use opelika fiber to the home when it is ready? |
|
 | reply to wingman99 I use Networx.
If you don't want/can't install a firmware to monitor your bandwidth install that on all the PC's on the line.
You will soon discover, as was said, AT&T's page is inaccurate and they may in fact use black magic to come up with your usage stats. I originally got the program shortly after they implemented caps in the month the online tracker said we had exceeded the cap by 30GB. Oddly, that has never even come close to happening in the year and half+ since. And the online tracker never really lines up with networx, but it's better than nothing. |
