F11 with a Jobbie

Archivis was found dead. Everyone celebrated, the town and the mafia all joined hands together in the town square, made amends and decided to live peacefully together.

It was the best time of Town F11 with a Jobbie.

Unfortunately, that did not last too long, as Gomez was found dead the next day... town did not approve that death and begun a hunt to find out the mafia to congratulate them personally, one more time, on killing Arch and then to kill them for killing Gomez.

Damn mafia.

You know the rules. Break them, and I break you.
Unless you're EnergyStream, then I will be a bit less forgiving. (Yes, you read that right.)

The four variants are:

1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 1 Cop, 1 Doctor, 6 Townies;
1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 8 Townies;
2 Mafia Goons, 1 Cop, 7 Townies;
2 Mafia Goons, 1 Doctor, 7 Townies.

Do you even look to see if there is a vote before checking in? If I was everyone's day 1 vote, I'd be lynched Day 1 in every game.

Unvote

I'm in meetings most of the morning.

I'm failing to see the downside here, friend.

Who benefits more from a day 1 vote? Having no info feels like a roll of dice.

Brom

It is a roll of the dice pretty much, but mafia basically gets a 'free kill' if we no lynch. Voting helps show patterns that can be used to determine who is mafia later in the game. It's not foolproof but it's better for town, who basically have no information besides the voting at hand.

I don't really like voting blind, and if we do have a cop or doc, I don't want to accidently lynch them giving mafia an even bigger advantage.

Vote: No Lynch

What he said.

By voting off a player on Day 1, we narrow the playing field. We can also use voting patterns on Day 1 to help with future days deliberations (although it is not done enough - people need to re-read more IMO). We usually have no evidence to go by on Day 1, so someone is generally picked through a vote push when Day 1 drags on too long. This is also telling, as you can look back to see who pushed for the vote off, and whether the lynched person turned out to be mafia or town. It's the beginning of information gathering for the Town.

It's been argued time and time again that going No Lynch on Day 1 is bad for the Town. Basically there is math behind it that I'm not getting into now, that lowers the town's chances when you get to the end days.

I'm back, btw. Here's a vote for making me explain shit, newbie.

Someone explain the math of No Lynch please. I think it has to do with how many people are left near end game that makes it bad for the town. I don't math good.

It's day 1 and Kristopher is not advocating a no-lynch. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. I'm starting to like my vote.

Please read above. I never advocate for No Lynch in a small closed game. Your pubgames history is too short. You have a bad pubgames rating due to that, plus a derogitory late charge on your pubgames account. Please contact Experion to correct.

I have a bad pubgames rating? I thought I was at least mediocre. (Still voting for you)
