| Well after snooping around google i found this and this looks about correct Bridge modem. 1.Open browser (IE) type 192.168.1.1 2.user: admin password: password 3.Select My network ³ select Newtowrk connection (to the left ) 4.Broadband connection ( select the tab under action ) 5.Look under Vc¡¦s select the tab under edit column. ( to the right ) 6.Under Protocol: Set to bridge 7.Bridge Mode: bridge.
Turn off DHCP 1.network connection 2.Lan 3.private lan the first one. Uncheck the first option under DHCP.
I went into the setting and looked at this stuff, but im not going to do it yet,cuz i dont have my router right now,but can someone confrim this is correct? |

 | The Netgear 7550-N has the address of: 192.168.254.254, not 192.168.1.1 admin: admin and not admin:password
My question is, why are you thinking of bridging to a second router anyhow? What exactly are you trying to achieve ? You just got this DSL service from Frontier a short time ago, so I'm having difficulty understanding, without clarification, just what you're trying to achieve here with bridging to a second router. |
