Since I switched back to Suddenlink I can't get into certain chat rooms. It shows "Error 2031". It has never done that before until I went with Suddenlink. Tried everything my limited skills allow. Turned firewall off,nothing. Typed in the chat site name in "trusted sites",again nothing. I'm lost.
Have you tried attaching directly to your modem and bypassing all of your personal network equipment? Also, do you know if the chat room(s) you are accessing require Java to work properly? Which web browser are you using? Sorry for all the questions but need more familiarity with your current setup to help troubleshoot...
