| TWC Cincinnati v Cincinnati Bell Fioptics I am a current TWC customer with 20/2 Internet and their TV service.
My understanding from a very reliable source at CBT, that they are finally going to be putting Fioptics into our neighborhood within the next six months.
Not sure if I want to switch, but has anyone else in Cincinnati used CBT to negotiate a better deal with TWC? I understand Fioptics does 30/5 with their package and it would be nice to have that with TWC but not interested in paying more.
So how successful have my fellow Cincinnatians been with negotiating with TWC when Fioptics has come into the neighborhood?

| This may not be apples to apples comparison but a couple years after Cinci bell purchased Lebanon Telecom a door to door salesman for CB show up offering me basically the same TV line up with 20/2 meg internet connection for $80. Think my TW speed was 10,/768k.
Not only was the internet faster the HD channels looked a hell of a lot better than TW. Cable box didn't crash on a weekly basis either.
Really regret having to move and go back to Time Warner.
And CB had UPS on the nodes so phone would still work during power outage. Didn't have phone with them but that and the UPS on my network and voip box still had working phones during power outage. |

| Thanks, I've heard that when CBT sends the sales guys around to get you to move to CBT, TWC sends people around to get you to stay with TWC. Wondering if you can get a better price then and if the speed TWC offers for Turbo will then increase to 30/5 from our current 20/2? Competition is definitely needed.

I've called TWC telling them CBT has Fioptics in my area and I was thinking about switching. They don't want to lose customers so they usually give you a better price. Go for it. Heres the number: 513-469-1112 |
