| Got verizon hotspot now need to learn how to track data used ok so switched over to the verizon hotspot and its working great so far, I just need to know how to track usage since I'd like to raid some on WoW and wouldn't want to go close to the cap too soon. Millenicom says you can't check it on the verizon website like people on this forum says..what's a good download to track usage that is reliable or accurate? |

| well how do i get to account page of my hotspot? any special numbers to put in? like the sprint page is 192.168.0.1. I doubt we'd use much until the end of the month, but would like to keep track of usage like i said  |

i found this from another post 192.168.1.1, went to that and went to advanced, diagnostics and where it says phone number it shows all zeros so i guess i can't do the verizon deal. I'll just have to wait once a week but millenicom never sent the reset password for community members website so I can't get on there either lol. |

i figured it out thanks..registered to verizon website, much easier lol. Had to restart hotspot for phone number to show up. |

| oh really? hmm weve only been using the hotspot for two days now, just playing WoW etc and it shows 340 something MB so it's pretty up to date for us so far. we couldnt have used more than that playing world of warcraft, don't really see how it got up to that much really lol. Also on the verizon website it shows the circuit ends on the 1st. is this true? since we never paid for a month yet, they sent us the hotspot already active and the bill comes on the first, so is these 5 days free?? |

Los Angeles, CA | They prorate the service ahead 5 days to compensate for shipping time. If you signed up after the 20th of the month or so then you've already paid through the end of April. |

| ok thanks  .. well if verizon resets its usage meter on the first then millenicom better send me the reset password link for the members website. I've hit the forgot password link twice now and recieved no temporary password link after i confirm from the first email they send. |

You can get a router that tracks usage. Cradlepoint routers can connect to the hotspot wirelessly, others can too I'd think. You can create a usage rule, set the cap, reset date, etc. Then you can see the total in the router settings. Saves from monitoring all devices separately. Verizon site is usually a few hours old for me, never seen it as much as a day behind. |
