Re: 2002 Accord, Sub-frame rot.. ANGRY!I never blamed him. I'm just asking him a question that he has not answered.
rody, I was reading through that site and everyone's whining about issues that were caused by salt. Imagine all the people who live in the north and aren't whining. I'm not having any issues here with a 2001 Ranger like everyone else is posting for 2001, and I live in NY too. I get way more snow than the OP. Wash the underside of the vehicle once or twice a week in the winter and it does wonders. Sure there's some rust here and there, but it's expected. I'm sure my new 2012 car will not have nearly as much rust as the Ranger does in 11 years since I'm making sure I keep up on the washes religiously. |

That was my point. Spray the salt and brine off and you wont have these problems. Let it sit anywhere and everytime any moisture hiits it it gets activated again. Its not limited to any type or part of a vehicle. |

I can also tell you, there's a difference in quality of the "underspray" car washes. There's 3 around me, and I only use 1 since it does a better job. |
