 | How is Insight Columbus' retention department? Hello, I am curious as to what i should ask for when calling Insight tomorrow about my grandmother's bill. She has 2 boxes, RoadRunner 10MB, and the home phone, she's paying $150/mo and i think thats a little insane for standard cable, internet she rarely ever uses, and a home phone that's rarely touched.
I see on the website i can do $68 for all three as a new customer with 1Mbps internet, but that's more than enough for her since she just checks email and Facebook at times, she never downloads anything.
Do you think they'll give me the new customer price, or should i be switching her to AT&T 6Mbps DSL for $15 for a year and DirecTV? |

 | I called and got her under new customer pricing for $73/mo for two boxes, 1meg internet, and home phone. She only needs basic email so the 1meg is fine.
I honestly don't think she even noticed i swapped her internet speed as she said she did not notice any difference in speed.
They did not charge the $25 re bundle fee they charged me last year when i swapped it over, when i asked her about it she said they did not charge that anymore. |
