 | sports ppv mosaic channels With directv when on a mosaic channel you can use the remote to chose which game you want to listen to or watch. Why can't we do that with Comcast? Is it the boxes or software or guide? |

 | it's just a raw image form indemand with music and no Audio choice.
Also the channel numbers are not the same over each cable system. |

Re: sports ppv mosaic channels For awhile, Comcast did have several special channels that were a bit like that. They were individual channels with several mini-pictures of channels in different categories, plus software in the box that let you select one to view and listen to, and I think change to if you hit OK. There were general, news, sports, and kids channels.
They used to be ClearQAM, and were just a normal channel with all of them there. The audio was just multiple audio feeds, like normal channels do for English/Spanish/DescriptiveAudio.
I think they were dumped because nobody used them. |

 | reply to mikedz4 It was called Comcast Central. There were 3 channels. News sports and last was kids if I remember. On the side of the images were menu buttons to take you directly to Guide listings or OnDemand content of the same title. |
