OSX port monitor/controller?

Do you know of an application that not only shows what ports your Mac is using but also allows you to instantly close a port of your choosing?

Highlight / Click "Close" would be ideal.

iMac Intel OSX 10.6.8.

Private Eye: »radiosilenceapp.com/private-eye is exactly what you want, but requires 10.7 Lion or higher.

edit2: wouldn't run on this 10.6.8. Odd thing though. Wherever I wanted to move it to, like out of the Applications folder onto desktop, or to shred it, or drop it onto AppDelete to get rid of any associated files etc. I had to type in my pw. Even though the app wouldn't run it was somehow already locked into the system.
