| Ultra TV wireless problem Dan - I got the wow ultra package a few weeks ago and the wireless function is not working for me. The hard wired internet gives me the 15mbps promissed.... The wireless also does so IF I am about 1 foot from the "control center"/router. When I am farter than 20 feet away, the mbps drop to about 1.

| It's an ongoing issue with UltraTV wireless. Most everyone has this issue with range and speed. The wireless hardware inside the box is crap.
So far the only way to fix it is to buy another access point and use that wireless instead. Just make sure it's in bridge mode. |

| $20 router with nice reviews. That's crazy cheap, and there's only 2 left. I'd go for it.

These things usually aren't too hard to configure, just post here if you need any help. Note that one reviewer says not to use the CD that comes with it.
And if that's true about the Ultra TV, that is really disappointing. I've never liked the Arris hardware from WOW. If only WOW made their own hardware. That's why I like Apple :P |
