On a side note, I fly Delta a lot and only take a larger carry-on. Seems a lot of my flights are either completely booked or one of those jets with 2 seats on either side. Delta always offers to check the carry-on at the gateway. I always do this and just remove my laptop and phone stuff (extra batteries). That way I don't need to worry about getting an over-head bin and I only need to wait a couple of minutes for the bag. I understand not everyone wants to do this but I really don't mind at all.
I usually put the laptop in the magazine holder. I place the magazines behind my back in the seat as this helps a little with my lower back pain. |
