 | [Northeast] FiOS still expanding in upstate New York? Is Verizon still expanding its fiber network in Hudson Valley? Right now I'm stuck with Optimum and I would love the faster upload speeds. |

 | Hopewell Junction is Frontier, I live right around the block from ya. Never going to see fiber in our lifetime |

 | reply to UnknownBeing What upload speeds are you getting now? I just got FiOS, but used to have Time Warner Cable with 15down / 1up. When I called cable to cancel, they kept me on the phone forever trying to give me all sorts of deals, including 50 down / 5 up connection. I declined of course (got 75/35 from Verizon), but you may want to check if higher speeds are available from your cable provider now. |

JJ High School is served by Verizon and the neighborhoods around it too. I live just down the road from them and I saw a Verizon truck not to long ago doing something with the lines. Maybe just maintenance. |

 | I believe the line is right there at Lime Kiln Rd on and 52. Go to the Verizon website and out your address in. If you are served by Verizon then the possibility exists. Frontier area will never get FIOS. |

| If your property taxes go to Hopewell Jct you cannot get FiOS TV, and more than likely youre not in a Verizon area, but in Frontier wireline. Some people have a Hopewell postal address but pay property taxes to Wappingers, THEY CAN or will eventually get FioS.
Could Verizon ever spread across telco boundary lines? Highly doubtful, although I remember they did such a thing to AT&T Uverse, the FiOS hub and Uverse cabinets were side by side in a photo. |

 | reply to pittpete1 You can always move 2 minutes down the road, damn, I would to get rid of Cablevision. lol. |

|
 | reply to UnknownBeing I live so close to where the FiOS line ends. This is so disappointing |
|
 | I live up here and finally got FiOS a few months ago. We are in an apartment complex that finally got wired. We are looking to buy a house and really hate that we might end up in an area not served by FiOS and have to go back to Cablevision. |
