1 edit | [Speed] [CHICAGO] Speed / modem issues? Anyone else in Chicago noticing frequent speed drops until they reboot their modem? I have the 25megabit speed, and for a few hours I'll get the full speed, and then for hours at a time under 1.4-1.6megabit speed, often considerably less. If I reset my modem (via the RCN page) speeds pop right back up to normal. I've tested this with / without router, and removed all cabled splitters, same result.
Hoping someone might've gone through this and had a solution or info to share. |
