 | [CFL] Whole House DVR questions I am hoping to get a bit of clarification on Whole House DVR. I just got off the phone with a (very rude) BH sales rep who contradicted how I understood the system to work.
Right now I have 1 regular HD DVR in the living room, that's it. I would like to replace that with a WH DVR, add a new WH DVR for the bedroom, then add a new HD converter box to the family room that can read the recordings from both of the boxes.
This is exactly what I explained to the rep but I was told that this is not possible; she said that I would only be able to have the one WH DVR in the living room then 2 converter boxes in the bedroom and living room.
So... who is the confused one here? And if the setup I was thinking about will work, any ideas what that will cost under the revised March rates? |

To clarify you may have multiple WHDVR's and boxes in combination and view your recorded programming on any WHDVR or box.
Please allow me to set this up for you and remedy the experience you had. Start the process here and I will be on it tonight » Bright House Networks Direct -- ~All truth goes through three phases. | Just to chime in on this, when I got my WH DVR set up, I was told I could only have only one box that does the actual recording, and the others in the house would only be able to read from the one box.
I don't really have a use for more than one at the moment, but I did ask the specific question of boxes that can record being limited to one, and was told that is correct. Maybe there needs to be a training bulletin sent out if the contrary is correct. |
