[XP] Port forwarding ->Router-> Repeater/Router(Alfa)->Camera DV

f some can please help me. I've been working on this for several days with no luck. I also have no experience in networking. So I'm a noob.
I did some research on google and went as far as I could without getting stuck.

I'm trying to setup CCTV DVR Security Cameras in my Barn/Garage. I am getting a good wireless signal from my home with an Alfa wireless usb adapter AWUSO36H connected to a Alfa router/Repeater R36, using this as a hotspot for my garage/barn. The house has a Time Warner Cable Ubee Modem/Router.

I am getting internet with no issues but I can't access the Ethernet Network CCTV DVR Security Cameras. I did go to »www.canyouseeme.org/ and all my ports are open. ex (ports 80, 34599,10000)

If I were troubleshooting it, I'd set up a laptop where the second router is, and IP it 192.168.0.2 with the 0.1 gateway, and run wireshark.
Then I'd try to access a camera from the internet, and make sure that you were seeing requests coming to 192.168.0.2. If that is working (port forwaring on the 1st router), I'd reinstall the second router, and move the laptop back to where the camera is, and use the camera IP on the laptop, and try to access the camera again, and verify that you're seeing the packets being forwarded by the second router.
If that all works, I'd then put everything back, and move back to the middle, IP my laptop as 192.168.0.1 and connect to the WAN port of the 2nd router and attempt to access the camera.
Devide and conquor.
Look at your downstream traffic first (from the internet to the camera), and then look at the upstream traffic and you'll figure out which router is not port forwarding, or blocking what it shouldn't (or the camera isn't responding etc).

This is really good. I like the way you think. Sorry that this might sound ignorant but I have never used wireshark. I did dnld the program. I will have to google on how to use it.
