·WOW Internet and..
| Probably switching providers I'll be moving soon and TWC is my only option in the boonies (hate to say goodbye to WOW). From what I understand, they are using McAfee now for their free internet security. How is it? It's been a while since I've used McAfee and I hated it. It really slowed down my system. Right now I have a subscription with Kaspersky but it is ending in about a month. Comments please. |

Kaspersky and ESET are my favorites especially ESET that use very little computer resources. |

I run Norton Internet Security (it can be had for some very cheap prices...check Google shopping) and Malwarebytes Pro. Starting with NIS 2009, Symantec made some wholesale changes to their anti-virus and security suite programs. And in each succeeding version, the program has only gotten better. It installs in two minutes or less, doesn't hog system resources and it does an excellent job of protecting your system. It is also very configurable with easy to find options. It is at least worth a try in my opinion. The Norton of old was terrible. This is not anything like those old versions. |
