The business model does not work. I had a huge argument with one of the early WISPs a few years ago. I was talking RF and how it could be made to work and he was talking about the business model. He was right about the business model. I was right about the RF model.
It won't be free and work... there will be a tax, or a levy, or some other way to monitize it.
Once we IPv6 enable every device on the Internet we will have toasters, baby monitors, and security cameras joining the bot nets which today are populated only by idiots that can not refrain from clicking, "Yes I would like to see those titties..."
