Hi guys, does anyone out there know if Bell plans to upgrade the network in the Welland area(near the college) anytime soon? I'm stuck at 5Mbps and Cable is not an option living so close to the college.
I spoke with a Bell guy down in Fort Erie last month. The answer is yes, but he didn't have any specific time frame for individual parts of the city. The rollout is under way and there are already parts of Welland with FTTN and Fibe TV. There is also a bit of FTTH with Fibe TV like the new parts of Classic Avenue and Empress Avenue, the area around Creekside Drive, etc.
