| [Midwest] Yahoo Messenger.... Cannot log in... My wife and I use the built in Yahoo mail messenger. The last 2 days she was able to get into mail but not into messenger... Out of nowhere yesterday it started working.
This morning I cannot get it to start. When I tell it to connect and show me as Available, it takes upwards of Minutes to come back and it has me as Offline.
Has anyone else been having this issue? Is there a fix? I need this to communicate not only with family but business people |

Are you talking about the "built in" client in AT&T/Yahoo! webmail? Are you using the "Classic" webmail? I do, and all last week (and continuing until today) there was a banner message displayed informing users that the "Classic" webmail was not going to support the messenger feature after 03/23/2013.
Are you talking about a Yahoo! messenger client that was built-in to your OS? You might want to download a new copy of the application from »att.software.yahoo.com/ to see if that fixes the problem. -- A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

We haven't had an AT&T account for ~4 years so any attempt to log in to reset the password results in them saying the account is inactive. Well, duh! But the Yahoo account is still active. It still won't let us reset the password.
Just letting you know that you may not be the only ones. |

| reply to breese The day after I posted the first message, Yahoo IM started working. This morning however the problem has returned. Along with this I should note that opening things like Contacts is Very Slow. Can someone at AT&T please look into what the issues are? |
