Cutting the cord

I got rid of cable a little over two years ago. Got tired of paying for 250 channels of garbage, and when I DID find something worth watching, 99% of the time it was on the local stations which I'm getting for FREE anyway.

WAY too much "reality" garbage on cable. Between the 18 over-the-air stations I get, and the "TWiT" and "GFQ" networks online, I have MORE than enough to watch, and it isn't costing me any extra.

As for the person above whose friend was getting bad antenna reception and was ALWAYS replacing connectors, my antenna has been up since I personally installed it over 10 years ago. I have YET to have any issues with it.
