Allentown, PA | [Equipment] transfer scheduled recordings I am thinkng about going from two tivo premiers and a sd box to a tivo quad and 2 previews. How can I ensure I have the chance to transfer the season passes to the new unit? Not the actual recordings, that woud be nice but I can live without it. What I dont want tto have to do is to setup all the recordings again. Thoughts? |

The online Season Pass manager lets you reorder your list of Season Pass requests, delete individual Season Pass requests, or transfer Season Pass requests between boxes (handy if you get a new TiVo box and want to copy your Season Pass requests from your old box) from any computer with an Internet connection.
I tried to use it, but it takes 24 hours to update my privacy settings so that TIVO is permitted to collect my season pass settings. |

It looks like the software requires you to have both the old and the new Tivo box hooked up at once. You cannot download your Season Passes to the computer's hard disk and hold them, and then re-install them on your new Tivo box. |
