 | Can't access SB6120 admin/config page Tried with direct connection to the modem from PC. Can't access "192.168.100.1". However, when I experiment with made up addresses after "192.168.100.1", for example: "192.168.100.1/reset", it shows an error page that is unique to the modem. So, in some way it can connect to the modem just enough to show that unique error page, but cannot access the admin page.
Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?
How do you solve this?
Otherwise there is no problem, but I am just curious to know if my signal is within acceptable range. |
gatorkramNeed for SpeedPremium join:2002-07-22 Winterville, NC kudos:2 | I had an issue with anther modem and chrome. I cleared my cache and then it worked fine. You might try the same.
It had something to do with chrome storing the pages of a different modem I had been using in the past. Was very odd, as I was telling it to go to the exact root of the address, and it was adding to the url.
I figured it out, by making an entry for the modem in the hosts file, simply called cmodem, and when I went to cmodem and not the typed in address it worked.
Hope this helps you. -- What the heck is a GatorKram? »www.gatorkram.com |
