1 edit | [East Coast] VZ Mail Servers Down Again?!? Anyone else having trouble getting to the POP & SMTP mail servers again tonight, or is it just me? They were working earlier today.
I am in Tampa using Windows Live Mail. WLM can get to my gmail accounts, no problem.  |

Who knows, the tech had me try the webmail which I never use. then she must have been advised there was an issue. She said put the old server names back in and it should work but if you ping pop.verizon.net or incoming.verizon.net both are down, same with smtp and outgoing...BTW I'm in NE |

The webmail interface is f'd too. 2 of 3 email aliases worked while the primary account stalls on the login and then returns a "3002" error, whatever that is... So this is the 99.9% up time that Verizon advertises so heavily in radio and TV ads... good thing they aren't the phone company.

Yep... My cellphone keeps saying, "failed to log in", and broadband.verizon.net give me a nice little error after I put in my username and PW:

Well, maybe there is no reportable outage so far as VZ management is concerned, but that doesn't mean it works. It's down again here (noon Apr. 1). |
