 | Recommendations for a PoE wireless access point for UltraTV I want to install an access point to handle all my wireless traffic in my house in my bedroom hallway. This way it will cover the entire house with extra strength to all the bedrooms where wireless traffic needs to be the strongest. Only issue is where I want to mount it in the ceiling there are no power outlets near.
I already have a power injector. I'm running cat5e cable to the ceiling this weekend (previous owners ran security cable there and cut it so I'll use that as a pull string).
Now I need to find an access point that works with UltraTV.
I'm finding various ones on amazon and newegg but they are more made for business use and are high priced. Plus I don't even know if they will work with UltraTV.
Anyone have a recommendation or are you using one that you know works? |

You'd be using this as a repeater, and since it is wired, you'd have the full performance (a wireless one takes half of the bandwidth for receiving and half for transmitting). It might be a cheaper way of doing what you want it to do. |

should include their own injectors too. |
