Setting up E-mail SMTP for Foscam

I have Foscam FI8910W and I have used xxxxx@att.net address with smtp.att.yahoo.com / port 465 / TLS setting and I was able to make it send emails.

I recently bought Foscam FI8921W (720p model) and the same setting does not work. I tried outbound.att.net and it does not help. Any ideas?

Foscam FI8910W is a wireless camera, for the benefit of those reading your post.

The following are the email servers that work with @att.net email accounts. Remember that TLS does not work with the ATT servers, it has to be SSL:

=======================================
POP: pop.att.yahoo.com, Security SSL, Port 995
SMTP: smtp.att.yahoo.com, Security SSL, Port 465

or

POP: inbound.att.net, Security SSL, Port 995
SMTP: outbound.att.net, Security SSL, Port 465

or

POP: pop.mail.yahoo.com, Security SSL, Port 995
SMTP: smtp.mail.yahoo.com, Security SSL, Port 465

or

IMAP: imap.mail.yahoo.com, Security SSL, Port 993
SMTP: smtp.mail.yahoo.com, Security SSL, Port 465

========================================

Beware that every now and then the imap inbound goes wonky and closes on you every now and then, since they have updated to https/SSL on the webmail interface. Still some bugs to work out.

I always thought TLS and SSL are the same thing. Anyway, turns out there is a newer firmware out for the FI8921W a week ago and although it didn't mention SMTP. The problem appears to be fixed.
