Alky join:2001-08-12 Cleveland, OH | WNDR3700 spewing logs Hello all. Something strange has started happening with my WNDR3700 in the past week. All of a sudden, it started spewing out log files to my email. At first, it was just a couple. This morning, 12. All with the same LAN access from remote entry. The originating addresses are all different, but the receiving side is the same. 192.168.1.101:46010. Also, it does not show connected devices anymore. I have 2 desktop computers, 1 wireless laptop, a Sony Blu-Ray and a Sony TV. Nothing shows. What could be going on? Thanks for any help! |

| 192.168.1.101:46010 is commonly used for a game. It's an open TCP port. »www.speedguide.net/port.php?port=46010
I would find out what is using 192.168.1.101 and run a virus check on it if it is a PC. Malwarebytes works pretty well - »www.malwarebytes.org/
Make sure you have remote access turned off as well and guest network turned off.
As a suggestion, I always define my addresses starting at 192.168.1.100. On the LAN page, you can do that under starting/ending address. Since you don't have that many devices, you could start at 1.100 and end at 1.125.
See what happens. |

Alky join:2001-08-12 Cleveland, OH | Thanks. I did find out 192.168.1.101 belongs to my visiting sisters laptop. I allowed her onto my network while she was staying with my mom. I've since hooker her up to my moms wi-fi. And yes, remote access and guest is off on my setup. Thanks for your reply! Alky |
