plencnerbPremium join:2000-09-25 Elgin, IL kudos:2 | Well, I have an Arris TM722G. Don't know if its the IMS or NCS one though...
But, I would be willing to give you the information for that modem.
In any case, how do you want people to help? Just do a reply to this thread, or send you a PM?

»192.168.100.1/rf_index.asp
will get one to the 2nd page of modem diagnostics, the Initialization page. No login required. Clicking on the links to the left on the Initialization page gets other pages.
On the 3rd page - the Status page - the IP address of the modem is given and may be used to get to the modem diagnostics page. I don't know if this is different for different individual modems. I use this value in a Bookmarks/Favorites link. -- There is nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact.

No login information is needed.
I don't know if this applies to the IMS or NCS version. How would I tell which one I have?

1 edit | reply to Johkal I thought that you only wanted DOCSIS 3 modem information, but I noticed that several posters were reporting DOCSIS 2 modems; so I went back to the original post and saw that the D-Link DCM202 was on your list. I have one of those that I still keep around as a backup modem, so the information is as follows.
Original factory defaults for the D-Link DCM202:
Address: 192.168.100.1 Username: dlink (this is customer changeable) Password: dlink (this is customer changeable)
The above information is what I remember from before I installed the special Comcast firmware from the D-Link FTP site: »ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Broadband/dcm202/F···rs_Only/
If that special Comcast firmware is installed (and when my DCM202 was new and still in the box, there was a bright red warning label warning that the modem's warranty would be voided if it was connected to the Comcast network before the Comcast specific firmware was installed *), the factory defaults change to this:
Address: 192.168.100.1 Username: admin (this is customer changeable) Password: hitron (this is customer changeable)
* FWIW, I connected my DCM202 to Comcast's network before I installed the Comcast specific firmware, but the walled garden site would not let me activate it. After I installed the Comcast specific firmware, it activated with no problems.
Also FWIW, the firmware that I downloaded from the D-Link FTP site and installed ~9 years ago (2.01) is the same version that is still being displayed in the modem's status page (just as a test, I am using that modem to make this post); Comcast apparently never found a need to push a newer version. -- A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

I had intended to separate them in D2 & D3 categories, but changed my mind and forgot to change the "DOCSIS 3.0 Modems" heading. I fixed it. Thanks! -- In God we trust; all others bring data!
