TWC has deployed the adapters in some areas as well. My TWC area happens to have deployed the technicolor HD DTA instead of Cisco as the area I am in uses motorola boxes instead of Cisco boxes.
Looks like the adapters will be needed more as 3 channels in Central Florida are going digital only:

That sounds like a DTA. DTA's will not handle SDV channels so that would explain the channel changeup.
