This is my PC running FreeBSD 9.1-RELEASE. The other shot is of my laptop, which is what I normally use.

That screenie really makes me want to use fluxbox again. Last used it back in 2007 i think.

I've used KDE, Windowlabs, and Hackedbox but prefer Fluxbox by far.

FreeBSD is the only OS I use and except for the wallpaper my desktop configuration never changes. I always keep Xfe FM open and shaded for quick access, a terminal open running top so I can monitor system activity, one running pftop so I can keep an eye on connections, and one to work from.

Sun shinning in the clouds? Beautiful!

Maybe that's just me but I don't think the gray panel in the top will fit well with the wallpaper background, but to each their own.

I have switched over to Avant Window Navigator without the ability to hide the bottom panel and it's missing a Lancelot plugin for my Kubuntu 12.04 desktop. The docks are made of glass for the top and bottom, to give it a nice touch for my slideshow-based wallpapers of landscapes and architecturer. I did away of panels in favor of docks. Panels do not have a sense of depth. Not even a reflection of icons and a clock.

I hope you like it.

I'm running Kubuntu 12.04 64-Bit with KDE 4.10.

This is a shot from last year...but I hope to have fresh ones soon . This is the lappy desktop. I'm waiting on something seasonal to happen for my main desktop. It's taking forever this year for stuff to blossom.

It's Kubuntu 12.04. Works fine.. lasts a loooong time.

I decided to go back to Mint 14. Mageia is nice, but I'm just not used to KDE. I'm thinking of putting this on my laptop to play with it some more.

wallpaper is a picture I took almost 2 years ago during the summer, sunset over the gulf

Not so much a desktop, but more a funny quirk of WICD. Seems funny while WICD is telling me there ARE no wireless networks, it's telling me at the bottom I'm connected to one at 100%!

Signals a bit weak though, usually my IP address is up in the chili pepper range.
