This is my PC running FreeBSD 9.1-RELEASE. The other shot is of my laptop, which is what I normally use.

That screenie really makes me want to use fluxbox again. Last used it back in 2007 i think.

I've used KDE, Windowlabs, and Hackedbox but prefer Fluxbox by far.

FreeBSD is the only OS I use and except for the wallpaper my desktop configuration never changes. I always keep Xfe FM open and shaded for quick access, a terminal open running top so I can monitor system activity, one running pftop so I can keep an eye on connections, and one to work from.

Sun shinning in the clouds? Beautiful!

Maybe that's just me but I don't think the gray panel in the top will fit well with the wallpaper background, but to each their own.

I have switched over to Avant Window Navigator without the ability to hide the bottom panel and it's missing a Lancelot plugin for my Kubuntu 12.04 desktop. The docks are made of glass for the top and bottom, to give it a nice touch for my slideshow-based wallpapers of landscapes and architecturer. I did away of panels in favor of docks. Panels do not have a sense of depth. Not even a reflection of icons and a clock.

I hope you like it.

I'm running Kubuntu 12.04 64-Bit with KDE 4.10.
