I would like to upgrade my XP box to Win7 but I don't want to reinstall all of my apps from scratch. There's a lot of them and I would have to find all of the old installation media.
Can I upgrade XP to Vista and then Vista to Win7? Do I even need a license for Vista if I'm not even going to run it?
If you have done this, do you have any tips to make things go smoothly?
