[Internet] Speed doesn't increase when Fibe TV is off? From what I read on Wikipedia and on this forum, having Fibe TV can give you 25mbps more bandwidth if the PVR is off but that hasn't happened to me... why? |

When you have Internet Fibe and TV the modem is synced at a higher profile to assure watching TV doesn't reduce the Internet speed but this additional bandwidth isn't available for Internet. For example my line is synched at 48mbps and I can record 3 HD chanel and 1 SD and I still have the full 25mbps for the Internet. In other words the additional 23mpbs is reserved for TV streams only. |

This is no longer the case, Bell has introduced new speed policies to limit the customers speed regardless of their profile. |
