Teksavvy Cable North York Area outages

Hello,

I have been experiencing multiple outages in the North York area for a while now. It doesn't last long but can happen multiple times a day like today. While it is a minor inconvenience having to wait, all those minor inconveniences have been building up and I am on the verge of getting majorly pissed enough to switch providers. Is there a way for me to extract a log or something and send it to Teksavvy for them to diagnose this?

Are you with Teksavvy cable?

Can you post the info in your modem diagnostics page?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you would like to post in the »TekSavvy Direct forum we can take a look at what is going on. We will be able to advise what is needed & how to get it.

Regards,
Martin

I wonder if they turned on 4x4 bonding recently on the York Mills POI that requires a better upstream power level. I was getting constant disconnects (this just happened 3 days ago) until I removed a splitter and that brought my upstream power level from 53dBmV to 49-50ddBmV

Best way to find out if the bonding channels have been turned on is to look at your modem stats.
