Avast Free Download showing corrupt signature.
Hello All,
I was going to try out the free version of Avast. I went to download it and it sends me to Cnet to download the exe file.
It downloads fine but upon completion Windows 7 say "The signature of avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe is corrupt or invalid."
Am I correct in assuming that it is most likely unsafe to install Avast using this file? I have tried to download it three times all with the same result.
Please let me know if you need any more information. Or, if you know of a better way to get the working file. If you can think of a better Anti_Virus I am all ears too. I have used Avira for years but just wanted to try something new. Thank you for reading.
