Chelmsford, MA | FTP Server FioS router Could someone help me with screen shots or video on how to get ftp working in the FioS router ? I know that FioS doesnt support it but I believe people have gotten it working. I'm usually ok getting this kind of stuff to work, but I am very frustrated this time.
Any help is greatly appreciated !!

Silver Spring, MD | The fios router does not support FTP directly, you need to run FTP on a pc on the network and then follow any of the port forwarding tutorials to forward a port for FTP (google your router model# and port forward) |

Run a FTP server on your computer and enable port forwarding on your router to the computer on your internal network (LAN) where the FTP server is located.
It should work just fine. |

Chelmsford, MA | The problem is that I have not yet been able to get the actiontec router to port forward properly. I have done this before with other routers. I was looking for a tutorial for doing this on the actiontec specifically for FTP.

My Actiontec has a port-forwarding option for FTP already defined, have you tried that?
