Angled wall plug for slim TVHi, I am installing a couple new LG slim TV's. I am having a problem with the included plugs, in that they are are not flat enough to let me mount the TV flush with the wall. Of the three sizes of TV's I'm installing, the 32" has an angled 2-prong plug that works great, the 47" has a regular two prong plug that is sticks out too far, and the 55" has a regular three prong plug that won't fit at all. I am using Leviton recessed plug boxes, but they are not deep enough. I bought angled two prong plugs, but they are too big to fit inside the leviton 1-gang 1-output plug. Here is the plug that works great: » dl.dropbox.com/u/2182768 ··· 9.24.jpgHere is the plug that prevents the TV from sitting flush with the wall: » dl.dropbox.com/u/2182768 ··· 5.36.jpgHere is the angled plug that does not fit in the leviton box: » dl.dropbox.com/u/2182768 ··· 3.48.jpgCan anybody recommend a source for angled plugs like the one that fits in the recessed box, or for deeper recessed single gang boxes? Thx P. |

Here is a 3 prong.. » www.newegg.com/Product/P ··· 12196878Finding a 2 prong might be an issue, you might want to look and see what mouser or digikey has. |

I use these all the time, but they will not fit into your recessed outlets. » www.amazon.com/Cord-degr ··· 03I7FEHQ |

Thx for the replies.
The SFCables angle two prong plug and the CyberGuys Ziotek angle plug does not fit in the single outlet Leviton box.
I think I will try to replace it with a dual outlet box and see if the plugs fit better.
Any other recommendations for a deep single gang power box? |

There are different boxes to use, that are made to hold larger sized plugs. |

The single outlet Leviton recessed plug is in the center of the hole, that is why the angled plug can't fit, not enough space for the cord end to bend and clear the edge.
The double outlet will have a plug top and bottom, allowing the plug to fit in the bottom hole while the cord can bend towards the top. |
