1 edit | reply to H2OuUp2 Count me in the group that had it happen twice. Its not really bad to fix tho. I have dealt with maybe ten tritons or so. From my experience i now make sure i park the truck the day before where i want to change the plugs. In other words dont run the truck at all before you change them. The littlest bit of warmth generated from pulling the truck in the garage will be very noticeable when you are removing the plugs. |

I bought my truck in February. from what i understand they used a longer 2-piece plug on the newer 5.4's that sometimes snap in half when removing them. i'm guessing from not using anti-seize on the plugs. i think it may be just the 3v heads though.
i wonder if the trick flow 5.4 heads have the plug problem......  |
